Pink was in the air this past Saturday as our team put on the gloves for the Susan G. Komen Ignite the Fight Gala sponsored by Wintrust Bank. It was a fantastic event in support of breast cancer awareness! We were not only lucky enough to attend, but we also provided swag bags that were given to guests.

It was an evening filled with rock star supporters displaying once again the unwavering commitment that makes Susan G. Komen who they are today. The energy was palpable among the trusted celebrity guests, partners, donors, and friends.

Together we gathered to turn breast cancer awareness into taking action. We are happy to share that over $400,000 was raised toward the steadfast goal of reducing breast cancer deaths in the US by 50% by 2026. In Chicagoland, we lose 1000 men and women every year. With the help of amazing supporters, we ARE going to change that heartbreaking statistic.

As we wrap up breast cancer month, it is honor and a blessing to leverage our company’s voice to raise awareness of breast cancer disparities and the importance of early detection. As we move beyond October, we will continue to support those causes which seek to find a cure to this disease which will impact 1 out of 8 women living in the United States.

We had so much fun at this event and it was for a good cause. We can’t wait to do it again next year!
