Thank you to the Chicago Tribune for the feature on the front page!

I’m extremely humbled to be able to give a voice to the voiceless and to bring light to the health disparities that face un- and under insured women dealing with breast cancer.

Had it not been for my experience of being treated at a south side hospital servicing low income women of color, and at Northwestern Hospital, which is located on Chicago’s Gold Coast and caters to predominately wealthy individuals, I would not have this testimony.

It’s a blessing to know that after all I’ve been through, something good came of it. 🎀
